The Next Chapter
Wood + Honey is evolving and becoming Rooted & Wild Living ~
Some stories aren't meant to last forever - They're meant to change you.
Almost eight years ago, Wood + Honey began with a dream, two willing hands, and very little knowledge of what I was actually getting myself into.
What I didn't know then was just how much this little business would become a part of our lives.
Wood + Honey helped carry my family through divorce, a pandemic, hard seasons, and plenty of moments when I wasn't sure what came next.
Every candle poured, every order packed, every market attended—it all mattered - And so did you.
You helped me build more than a business. You helped me build a life.
Wood + Honey taught me how to be a business owner. It taught me resilience, creativity, courage, and the value of building something with my own two hands.
It taught me a lot about being a mother.
And, perhaps most importantly, it taught me a lot about being a capable independent woman.
So I'm not closing Wood + Honey because it failed - Not even close! I'm closing this chapter because it fulfilled its purpose.
Through December 31, 2026, I'll be carrying the final fall and holiday collections of Wood + Honey. I'll be saying goodbye to the scented candles, wax melts, room sprays, that have been a part of this beautiful chapter.
But this isn't really goodbye. It's an evolution.
Welcome to Rooted & Wild Living.
Rooted & Wild Living is where the pieces of my life that have been quietly coming together begin to make sense.
Nature.
Gardening.
Beeswax.
Wild-crafted body care products, tinctures and teas.
Soap.
Herbs both culinary and medicinal.
Slow living.
Learning.
Growing.
I'm currently working toward my herbal certification, a calling I have felt in my bones and deep in my soul since I was a young teen. Over time, Rooted & Wild Living will grow to include more botanical and apothecary-inspired offerings such as herbal teas, tinctures, and other thoughtfully made products expanding upon our already popular salves and body products. Wild-crafted plant offerings for medicinal, culinary and many other purposes that are rooted in plants and traditional herbal practices.
I don't have every piece figured out yet. And I think that's okay.
For now, I'm going to enjoy this ending.
I'm going to celebrate Wood + Honey for everything it gave me and my family. And I'm going to let myself be curious about what comes next.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for buying a candle.
Thank you for sharing a post.
Thank you for telling a friend.
Thank you for supporting a dream that became so much more than I ever imagined.
I'll see you on the other side.
Rooted & Wild Living is coming...
And I can't wait to show you where we're going.
All my love and gratitude and may you always BEE Well,
Bethany
